Freeport Area Church Cooperative (FACC) was awarded $18,775 in our 2022 Spring Grant cycle. FACC has already received funding from churches, community and CFNIL Grant to add restrooms, laundry room/kitchenette and family dorm into our program on the second floor. When construction recently began, it was determined that FACC’s current electrical setup will not supply the necessary outlets, lights and appliances. Changes had to be made which included switching to a 400 amp meter, adding a sub-panel and possibly replacing the existing panel. This was not discoverable until the contractors began work on these previously funded projects.
